About Us
Social Research Center
is the first research and communication platform in Latin America dedicated specifically to the Indian diaspora and everyone working with India in the region.
Until now, Latin America lacked an institution that comprehensively studied the lives of Indians and their contributions to the region’s economy, culture, and politics. The absence of a unified “voice” made dialogue with local communities, media, and businesses more difficult. Social Research Center fills this gap.

We build an accurate, evidence-based picture of the Indian community’s role in Latin America. Through rigorous research, open dialogue, and collaborative projects, we create spaces where the cultures and markets of India and the region converge — shaping a more connected and informed future.
What We Do
Research and Analytics

We conduct surveys, media monitoring, and thematic studies spanning diaspora dynamics, trade flows, and cultural trends.
Publications and Interviews

We regularly publish articles, expert commentary, and our flagship “India–Latin America” digest, translating complex findings into accessible knowledge.
Case Campaigns

We help the diaspora share their stories and support reputation-building and educational initiatives that amplify community voices.
Expert Network

We connect academics, journalists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from both regions, hosting roundtables and web sessions to spark collaboration.
Our Research Expertise
Every insight we produce rests on methodological depth. Our strength lies in the synthesis of quantitative and qualitative expertise, delivered by a team of researchers, evaluators, statisticians, programmers, and technical specialists who ensure integrity at every step.
Quantitative & Qualitative Research Design
We do not simply apply methods — we build multi-stage verification processes tailored to each task. From desk research and formative inquiry to stakeholder consultation, expert validation, and cognitive testing, our approach guarantees reliable instruments. Our full-cycle survey services span conceptual design, rigorous sampling, multi-channel data collection (telephone, online, postal, mixed modes), and advanced weighting. Parallel to this, our qualitative practice — focus groups, in-depth interviews, observation, case studies, and online methods — uncovers the values, emotions, and hidden mechanisms that numbers alone cannot reveal, including among expert and hard-to-reach populations.
Data Analytics & Modelling
We transform raw data into decision-ready intelligence. Complex sample designs (stratified, clustered, mixed-mode) maximise precision. Our analytical toolkit includes regression modelling, machine learning, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, psychometric modelling, geospatial analysis, and natural language processing. Each technique is deployed to extract actionable insights and support data-driven strategy.
Data Visualization & Reporting
Insights need a clear visual language. Combining web design principles with Power BI, Tableau, and R, we build secure, interactive dashboards that tell the story behind the numbers. Our reporting ranges from executive summaries and automated respondent reports to comprehensive documents suitable for peer-reviewed publication — always shaped by a deep understanding of the audience.
Evaluation & Impact Assessment
We design monitoring systems, logic models, and evaluation plans that make evidence-based policy possible. Our work spans formative, process, outcome, impact, and cost-effectiveness evaluations, embedding rigorous evidence directly into decision-making so that programmes achieve what they promise.
Data Management & Governance
Our multi-layered data management framework enhances scientific and societal impact while balancing researcher needs with confidentiality and ethics. We advise on data management, use, and dissemination; control access and release for secondary analysis; monitor compliance (including secure data destruction); and deliver transparent documentation — from technical methodology reports to plain-language summaries — all aligned with legal, ethical, and funder requirements.
